Padma's Hosting Tips
    Tip 1
The perfect party spread is a mix of savory and sweet, spicy and briny with lots of texture. Always have things like nuts, preserves and chutneys on hand to dress things up. One ingredient that I can’t live without lately is pomegranate molasses - you can even drizzle it over Boursin.
    Tip 2
You don’t need to take on all hosting tasks by yourself! I give each of my guests tasks to help them feel involved and help take the pressure off. Don’t be afraid to enlist your friends to bring dishes, come early for prep or help with cleanup.

    Tip 3
When deciding what to serve, make sure that at least 70% of it can be made ahead of time so that you have time to relax before guests arrive. If you’re relaxed, then your guests will be too!
    Tip 4
Less is more with floral arrangements! A mix of simple flowers cut to stand no more than 4-5 inches above the table in small, low vases are the most conducive for conversation. I also opt for seasonal flowers or wildflowers, which are budget-friendly and bring an organic and tailored look to the table.
