Crispy Boursin Bites with Zesty Red Pepper Dipping Sauce

Crispy Bites
  • Arrange Boursin Bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight
  • Combine flour, salt, pepper and cayenne in a shallow bowl
  • In a separate bowl, whisk eggs with 1 Tbsp. water
  • In a third bowl, add panko
  • Coat each frozen Boursin Bite in flour, followed by egg, then panko
  • Bake Bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet in the oven for 6-8 minutes at 400°F or arrange in the basket of an air fryer, leaving space between each Bite, and air fry at 360°F for 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
Zesty Red Pepper Dipping Sauce
  • Drain red peppers in a colander, pressing well with paper towels to remove as much liquid as possible
  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth

Tip

Tip 1: Use one hand for dipping Bites in the flour and egg, use the other (dry) hand for the panko to avoid panko clumping too much.
Tip 2: Each oven or air fryer is different. To avoid overcooked Bites, bake or air fry 1-2 test Bites to start. If the balls start to ooze cheese, reduce baking time.

  • Crispy Bites:

  • 4.23 oz Boursin Bites Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper

  • pinch of cayenne pepper, optional

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 Tbsp. water

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • Zesty Red Pepper Dipping Sauce:

  • 1 (12 oz.) jar roasted red peppers

  • 1 clove garlic

  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

  • 3 Tbsp. chopped Italian parsley

  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

  • Pinch of cayenne

  • ½ tsp dried rosemary, optional
