Sweet & Savory Boursin S’mores

A distinctive, balanced version of classic s’mores with tart blackberry compote plus bold and flavorful Boursin Cracked Black Pepper. This delicious twist on the campfire favorite will have you coming back for more.

Your Turn To Create

Blackberry Compote
  • Add the blackberries, sugar, lemon juice and water to a pot, stir and bring to the boil.
  • Boil for about 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. It will thicken as it cools.
  • Optional: Use your favorite store-bought jelly or jam instead.
Prep the S'more
  • Smear a generous helping of Boursin Cracked Black Pepper on one waffle cookie.
  • Add 2 squares white chocolate.
  • Top with a dollop of blackberry compote or favorite store-bought jelly or jam.
Roast Marshmallow
  • Over campfire embers, roast marshmallow until golden brown on all sides.
Assemble
  • Add perfectly golden marshmallow on top of prepared cookie, Boursin Cheese, chocolate, and blackberry compote or store-bought jelly or jam. Use second cookie to sandwich all ingredients together.
  • 2 round butter waffle cookies

  • 1 large marshmallow

  • 2 white chocolate squares

  • 1 package Boursin Cracked Black Pepper

  • FOR THE BLACKBERRY COMPOTE:

  • 1/2 cup blackberries – fresh or frozen, both work well

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp water
